Man within his Physical and Ethical Space

The view of man with whom we are concerned here implies that man is truly human within a specific realm. This realm or sphere is then seen as the sphere of time and physical space (nature) within which man has his everyday existence.

To be genuinely human man must live within the created intent for his life. We would like to call the idea involved here the ethical space of man.
Man's living sphere could also be called his exterior world. In this exterior world, or physical and ethical sphere we find factors such as people, politics, powers, economics, droughts, the different working environmental structures, rules even the supernatural forces.

The Interaction between Man and his time Space
Time is seen as the historical compass within which world history is taking place. One can only try to understand man in the context of his bondage to time. The following is of significance here:

Man experiences time mainly as the history of his own actions/deeds/life

When we look back upon our lives, we see what we have done in the past. If we look ahead, we see what we would wish for in the future. However, mankind is not equal to only its history. Man is also an independent living entity, capable by way of his own actions of creating a personal history. The recognition that man's history forms part of his identity requires us to look at certain aspects of Freud's personality theory from a new perspective. Freud strongly emphasises the role that the subconscious plays in our lives. This subconscious would then be an amalgamation between man's history and its effects on him.

The Freudian assumption that the subconscious governs human behavior in the true sense is absolutely ridiculous, and this theory cannot be accepted as fact, neither has any rational sense, because man still has the freedom of choice.
