The real problem is that neither the parents nor the students understand the importance of the individual’s uniqueness and personal values which leads to understanding the individual's passion. Often, parents or career guidance consultants (with good intentions) advise children on what career path to follow, without the specialized knowledge of knowing what makes up those children's uniqueness's, personal values and the environmental effects on those children. The tragic result being that the children find themselves in careers or environments that do not allow them to lead a fulfilled life-style. Without finding an individuals passion that individual would lead an unfulfilled life.
